You do not need to create an account to use Nortivia. Nortivia, operated by Coastal Mind & Wellness, does not maintain a database of individual users or create personal profiles from your use of the site.

Ask and artificial intelligence

When you use Ask, the information you enter is transmitted through Lovable's AI service to an OpenAI model so that an AI-generated response can be produced.

Nortivia, operated by Coastal Mind & Wellness, does not save Ask conversations in a user account or application database, and each Ask request is handled without a saved conversation history.

Technology providers involved in operating the AI service may maintain limited operational logs, such as information about the model used, request status, duration, and usage. Depending on their platform practices and settings, limited or redacted request or response information may also be retained for security, debugging, or service operation.

For this reason, please do not enter information that is not necessary to your question.

Assessments and Tools

Answers entered into the site's assessments and Tools are processed locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to Nortivia or Coastal Mind & Wellness or stored in an application database. When you leave or restart these activities, your answers are not maintained as a user record.

Please leave out identifying information

You do not need to provide your name, address, school name, date of birth, medical record number, or other identifying information to use the interactive features.

Please avoid entering sensitive or identifying information, especially when using Ask.

Information stored on your device

The site may use browser storage to remember whether you selected Teen, Parent, or Young Adult so that relevant content can be displayed as you move through the site. A limited browser cookie may also be used for interface preferences.

These preferences do not contain your assessment answers or Ask conversation history.

Website analytics

Nortivia, operated by Coastal Mind & Wellness, currently does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party behavioral tracking or advertising tools.

If analytics or tracking practices change in the future, this Privacy Notice should be updated accordingly.

Third-party content

Some pages link to or display content from third parties. For example, videos may be provided through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding service. When you choose to interact with third-party content, that provider's privacy practices may apply.

External websites linked from Nortivia have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Email and phone

The website provides email and telephone links for general inquiries and inquiries about the affiliated private psychiatry practice. There is no website contact form.

Email and telephone communications are separate from the interactive educational features of this website. Please do not send urgent or unnecessary sensitive clinical information by ordinary email.

Children and teens

This website's interactive features are intended for users age 13 and older. Children under 13 should not use Ask, assessments, or other interactive features.

Teen users should avoid providing names, school names, addresses, dates of birth, medical record information, or other unnecessary identifying information.
